Avoid food from sticking to pan

Read the recipes

Most recipes will let you know if a plan should be greased, floured or left ungreased. It will also let you know the type of oil suitable for the ingredient you are using.

Make sure food is dry

Moisture will lower the oil temperature in the pan and promote sticking. So if possible, make sure the meat our poultry you are adding and at room temperature.

Keep pan clean

Did you know black spots on your cookware indicate food buildup? Scrub it off with a nonabrasive cleaner. A completely clean pots and pans prevent “hot spots” which can cause uneven cooking and sticking

Make sure the pan and oil is hot.

Heat the pan before adding the cooking oil. When oil is also hot, you may then start adding the ingredients.
